Shower service

The purpose os this regulation is to control the correct use of the infraestructure and showers in the sports facilities of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), managed by the UAB Physical Activity Service (SAF-UAB). This regulation will apply to all people who are members of the BiciUAB Program. 

REGULATION:

The spaces will be governed by general regulations and specific regulation of the center. In the event of a conflict, the specific rules of the program will be applied first, unless the general rules are more restrictive. 

Will have exclusive access to the showers that the SAF allows to book for a maximum stay i the facilities of 30 minutes. 

Use the service at least once every 3 months. A failure to reach this minimum use will result in the person being removed from the Service's database.

Will not have access to any other SAF service unless something else is specified from time to time.

SPECIFIC REGULATION AND PROCEDURE:

A) TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS FOR THE USE OF SAF SHOWER SERVICE, you must:

  • Be registered in the BiciUAB Program by sending an email to mobilitat@uab.cat and to inform about name, surnames and NIU. 
  • Register your data in the SAF 
  • Go to the SAF reception (previous appointment) where a QR code will be provided on your telephone device. That will give you access to the facilities. It will be verified that you are enrolled in the BiciUAB Program when accessing the facilities.

B) TO ACCESS THE SHOWER SERVICES IN SAF, you will need:

  • Book the day and time you want to go to the showers at the sports center.
  • Pass the QR code on your phone and access the facilities through the entrance.
  • Leave the SAF before 30 minutes have passed the register the departure in the QR reader of the exit of the Service, specific for these BiciUAB users.
  • Cancel the reservation in case of not being able to go there up to 15' before the access. Failure to cancel will not allow access to the showers for a minimum period of 15 days. 

C) THE NON-PROPER USE OF THE REGULATIONS:

A failure with the regulations will result in the immediate application of the Regulations and the General Use Regulations of the center, this procedure may lead to a period of non-access to the Service.

D) BICYCLES

SAF working staff are not responsible for the bicycle or some personal object.

E) INSURANCE

In the event of an accidental injury while using the shower service, non-subscribers will be covered by the social health-care, private health-care or any other supplementary student coverage.
