PMR routes
With the aim of achieving universal accessibility on the Campus, a diagnosis of accessibility to the routes at the UAB has been drawn up. It is based on the criteria of the Accessibility Code of Catalonia, which have been defined for the following routes:
Accessible: the parameters observed are in accordance with the established regulations. The key parameters are considered, so that if there are any secondary parameters that do not fully comply with the regulations, they are assessed as accessible. For example: if a route complies with all the parameters but parking spaces vary slightly from the measure established by the regulations, it is considered accessible.
Practicable: not all the parameters observed are in accordance with the established regulations. However, the parameters that are not met can be saved for people with lesser mobility limitations or with the occasional support of another person.
Neither practicable nor accessible: some of the parameters observed are not in accordance with the established regulations and cannot be saved by people with lesser mobility limitations or with the occasional support of any other person.
