Exhibition: "Women Scientists and Engineers to Come"
Description:
The Faculties of Science and Biosciences, the School of Engineering and the Library of Science and Technology (BCT), with the support of the Observatory for Equality, organise the exhibition "Women Scientists and Engineers to Come", which can be visited from 9 February to 10 March in the displays of the BCT and the general hall. Associated with the exhibition, which was created by the BCT, are other activities such as a colloquium, a bibliographic exhibiion, a debate and lecture on Scikus with gender perspective, a session on the Hypatia MArs project, and a self-defense workshop.

Science Carriage: let's talk about mental health stigma
Description:
Ana Barajas, Ana Aznar and Daniela León, PhDs and lecturers from the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, will be in the expert's seat of the Science Carriage this week from 9:41 a.m. to 2:22 p.m. They will be talking with train passengers about the stigma related to mental illnesses.
The first trajectory will begin at 9:41 a.m. from Sarrià to Sabadell Parc del Nord.
All three lecturers have participated in the Science Carriage podcasts, which are available here.

Tribute to Salvador Puig Antich on the 50th anniversary of his execution
Description:
On 2 March 1974, the Iberian Liberation Movement activist Salvador Puig Antich was executed by the dictator regime of Francisco Franco in the La Model Prison of Barcelona. Alongside Heinz Chez, his was the last execution to take place under Franco's dictatorship. To commemorate 50 years since his execution, the UAB Cinema Hall will project on 22 February the film Salvador (Manuel Huerga), which will be followed by a colloquium with the participation of the filmmaker, the activist's sisters Carme and Imma Puig Antich, film producer Jaume Roures and scriptwriter Lluís Arcarazo. Participating in representation of the UAB will be Rector Javier Lafuente, and Dean Enric Marín from the Faculty of Communication Studies. The film projection will open the series of activities "Puig Antich: 50 anys: El compromís vigent" which will also take place at other universities and at the La Model cultural centre, located in the former prison.
