Employability and cybersecurity in the School of Engineering's Tecnodays
Description:
The Tecnodays are a monthly initiative by the School of Engineering to delve deeper into the latest trends and innovations in technology and engineering. They are jointly organised by the student association Tecno UAB and the School of Engineering. On 15 February, a new edition will take place with the participation of the companies U4Imapct and KPMG. The first conference focuses on how to find employment with the help of a final project, and will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., entitled "¿Cómo conseguir trabajo a través de tu TFG?". Blanca Travesí, co-founder of U4IMPACT, will be talking on employment and professional development. Following the conference, Rafael Páez, cybersecurity technology senior leader at KPMG, will speak on how working from home can put companies at risk entitled "Comprometiendo una compañía desde el sillón de casa".

Colloquium: Women trainee researchers versus PhD thesis supervisors
Description:
Iris Parra, from the PhD programme in Philosophy, and Cristina Madrid, from the PhD programme in Cell Biology, together with Inma Ponte, director of the Doctoral School, take part in this colloquium that is included in the wide array of activities being held during the months of February and March by the UAB in celebration of International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
