Archaeological and Natural Heritage Center
From November 2013, Can Boet was made into a municipal facility for managing the city of Mataró’s cultural heritage in the field of the archaeology of natural sciences. It includes the interpretation centre of the Torre Llauder Roman Villa archaeological site and the Documentation Centre (CD) of Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park.
The main purpose of this documentation and research centre is to disseminate, foster and promote archaeological and natural heritage.
The centre is used by volunteer research groups working in these areas: the Mataró Archaeological and Historical Studies Centre and the Catalan Institution of Natural History’s Serralada Litoral Central Delegation.
