Knowledge transfer

The Institut  d'Història de la la Ciència has a strong vocation to establish a fluid dialogue with society through a series of activities to transfer and disseminate this discipline to diverse audiences. In addition to academic research and specialised publications, members of the IHC are especially active in dissemination conferences, exhibitions, university extension courses, appearances in the media and on social networks. The IHC aims to situate scientific culture, from its historical dimension, in constant dialogue with our present, and with the concerns and uncertainties of our contemporary societies.
