Specific skills
- Define the assignment, the type and the successive stages of development of the ancient Egyptian language.
- Identify the four Egyptian Writing systems (hieroglyphic, hieratic, demotic ans Coptic) and know their uses, chronologies, signs, palaeography and way of functioning.
- Demonstrate knowledge of grammar of medioegipcia languages (and antiguoegipcia) neoegipcia and Coptic.
- Read, translate, parse, interpret texts critically and edit antiguoegipcios, medioegipcios and neoegipcios of different genres and on different media.
- Demonstrate expertise of Egyptian philology, both synchronic and diachronic, as well as the different currents of thought egiptológico philological-linguistic.
- Critically interpret texts as historical and cultural sources.
