URBAN MOBILITY

The Urban Mobility research group was created with the aim of adapting its mobility studies to the changes that in recent years are being experienced in our cities. Our mobility patterns are changing rapidly and we need to adapt our research questions and methods to this new reality.

The group aims to generate innovative knowledge and global reference (research), to train students for the challenges of the future (training) and to be a meeting point, exchange and connection between the research field, the public sector and the private sector (connection).

Our five main lines of research are:

(1) Evaluation of mobility patterns
(2) Urban form and mobilities
(3) Mobility, gender and inclusion
(4) New research methodologies and methods
(5) Evaluation of public policies and planning processes (Transversal 2).

Our research is characterized by a high innovation in methodologies and tools of analysis and a high interdisciplinarity.
