19th Institutional ceremony commemorating International Women's Day
Description:
The UAB Observatory for Equality organises the 19th Institutional Event in commemoration of International Women's Day. This year's event will include a tribute to Dr Margot Pujal i Llombart, who received a PhD in Psychology from the UAB.
The event will take place on Wednesday 6 March in commemoration of 8M at the conference hall of the Rectorat building.

"Neuma", a flute quartet concert
Description:
The ‘Neuma’ group of chamber music, made up of four women: Anna Pujol, Raquel Díaz, Alejandra Villalonos and Estela Córcole present different musical pieces.
Free entrance limited to the capacity of the room. To attend the performance, it is recommended to book tickets in advance on this form.

Self-defense seminar for women
Description:
The Equality Commission of the Faculty of Psychology organises a seminar on female self-defense, given by the sports club Món Físic, an organisation that offers self-defense training for women 15 and older. The class will combine theoretical, physical and psychological preparation with two clear objectives: tips on how to detect a dangerous situation and to achieve a good mental and physical resistance to avoid it and, if necessary, to face it. The seminar is open to the general public; there is not need to be a SAF member to attend.

Science Carriage: let's talk about fibromyalgia
Description:
Joan Deus, researcher in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the UAB, will be sitting in the expert's seat of the Science Carriage to talk with passengers on fibromyalgia and chronic pain and its effects on a person's mental health. He will be doing so on the train travelling from the Universitat Autònoma at 10:42 a.m. in direction Plaça Catalunya and on the journey back to the UAB, which leaves at 11:28 a.m. from Plaça Catalunya.
