Monument arquitectònic i arqueològic dels Trullets d'Algerri

Els Trullets d'Algerri

The  Trullets d'Algerri Archeology Campus was born from the collaboration between the Algerri City Council and the Agrarian Archeology of the Middle Ages research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The Trullets d'Algerri is a unique archaeological site and declared BCIL, whose function is related to the production of wine in the historical context that spans from the middle of the 17th century to the first decade of the 20th century.

This agreement aims to deepen the study of the history and archeology of the Trullets and the peasant community that managed them, and to open participation in the management of the monument to the local community of Algerri.

Before the signing of the agreement, there were several archaeological actions carried out at the site: two youth work camps, an archaeological excavation and an intervention for the protection and adaptation of the site for visitability.
