L'Agustí rustic villa museum

Tagamanent Ethnological Park houses three facilities: L’Agustí Museum House, the Information Point and El Bellver Restaurant. L’Agustí is an ethnological museum that shows what rural life in this area of Montseny was like in the mid-19th century.

The guided tour of the cattle and sheep yards, kitchen, bakery, banquet hall, and the heir and grandmother’s chambers includes an audio system that recreates imagined conversations between the last members of the Agustí family, as well as the aromas of everyday country life (like lavender and ash). The visit ends with a magnificent audiovisual presentation about life in the farmhouse and the Pla de la Calma.
