Hotel Management at the UAB. 15 Years of History

The year 2008-2009, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Diploma in Hotel Management at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which had already been taken by close on a thousand students, saw the publication of the book "Direcció Hotelera a la UAB. 15 anys d'història" (Hotel Management at the UAB. 15 Years of History), which traces the development of the School and of the Hotel Management programme in the context of the tourism and hotels sector and in that of Catalan and Spanish society and economy.

The book contains reflections on the programme and the School itself during this period of teaching and research, by persons with strong ties to them, such as Francesc J. Uroz and Dr Santiago Guerrero, and presents the views and experiences of former students, including how the School shaped their subsequent careers.
There is also a contribution from companies and other organisations in the tourism and hotels sector, who recount how they took part in the students' education.
