The streams

Two streams cross the campus: Can Magrans stream and Can Domènec stream. Their flow is limited to periods of rainfall, so they have become temporary streams, with stretches of pools and stretches that are completely dry.

Stream management at the UAB mainly involves periodic clearing and removal of refuse in the Eix Central stretch and other risk prevention measures (such as cleaning culverts under the roads or felling trees that are in danger of falling in much-frequented areas).
