Josep Laporte Library
The Josep Laporte Library offers support to professors, researchers and students of the UAB Faculty of Medicine, and opened its doors to the public on May 2, 2000.
It was born from the merger of three medical libraries: the library of the Acadèmia de Ciències Mèdiques de Catalunya i Balears, the Library of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, and the Library of the Teaching Unit of the Hospital de Sant Pau of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Access to the Library
Located on the ground floor of the building, it is accessed from behind the main staircase of the entrance hall. Through the side passageways adjacent to the stairway is a flight of stairs that leads directly to the door.
For people with reduced mobility, the library has adapted access via the elevator located in the south wing of the building, at the end of the corridor to the left from the main entrance.
