Master description

The master's degree represents 60 credits that must be taken over a single academic year in two semesters of 30 credits each. The aim of the Master's Degree in Translation and Intercultural Studies is to train professionals, academic specialists and researchers able to directly access the labour market or to work in in research activities within the field of Translation and Intercultural Studies.

The master's degree consists of two areas of specialisation, one focused on professional practice (Translation and Intercultural Mediation), and the other on Research (Translatology and Intercultural Studies). Students take one of two areas of specialisation. Translation and Intercultural Mediation corresponds to an area of specialisation currently required by the translation labour market, and the need for intercultural mediation involved in migratory flows. It aims to train specialists in the knowledge of and research in Translatology, in the sociocultural aspects of intercultural contact and in intercultural transfer.

The master's degree involves two languages B (Chinese and English) and one language A (Spanish).
