Improves the Barcelona-UAB connection
From Monday, March 2nd, the bus offer, which connects Barcelona with Cerdanyola and UAB Campus, will be extended.

Territory and Sustainability improves the connection with the UAB with new express.cat services.
- From Monday, March 2nd, the bus offer, which connects Barcelona with Cerdanyola and UAB Campus, will be extended.
- Thanks to this increase, the average frequency of passage, on school days, becomes 15 minutes.
The Territory and Sustainability Department increases the offer in the corridor between Barcelona, Cerdanyola and the UAB with 15 new trips to UAB and 16 trips to Barcelona, on school days. In addition, the offer during August is also growing with 30 new trips per direction, for first week of August; and 3 new trips per direction, to the rest of working days of August. Finally, the number of weekend trips is also increasing with 1 new trip per direction, working Saturdays; and 8 new trips per direction, Sundays and holidays.
This new offer means an average frequency between Barcelona and the UAB of 15 minutes on school days.
This line, between Barcelona and UAB, carried 1.103.095 passengers in 2019, number that represents an increase of 20.75% over the previous year.
In this line, the Territory and Sustainability Department continues to make progress on its commitment to improve mobility in the low-emission zone of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (ZBE), which is effectives from 1 January 2020.
