We are excited to continue our series of workshops on soft skills for early-career researchers. Following the previous two workshops on grant writing and oral presentation skills, we now propose a workshop focused on preparing for the job market.
This is one of those crucial skills that is rarely addressed in academic circles and is even less often included in formal training. Much of the knowledge in this area is typically passed through informal channels within the solidarity networks that scholars create or participate in. With this workshop, we aim to consciously and collectively build such a supportive community.

During the workshop, we will address the following topics:

● The Prologue: Networking, publishing, selecting fields, and other mysteries.
● Finding Opportunities: Where to look for academic positions.
● Crafting Your CV
● Writing a Cover Letter
● Interview Preparation
