CALL for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - MSCA POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

The Institut d’Història de la Ciència (IHC) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) invites top-class researchers to apply for the MSCA POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (call will open on 9/2/25) to conduct research. Applicants will be invited to develop the full competitive MSC application with the support of iHC’s researchers and the research administration staff at UAB. 

The IHC research mainly focuses on the history of science in the 18^th, 19^th and 20^th centuries, from diverse perspectives: science, politics and power; audiences as active agents in the construction of knowledge; the material, spatial and urban dimensions of science; the nature of technoscience, the environmental crisis, and the relation between science, health and gender (https://www.uab.cat/web/institut-d-historia-de-la-ciencia-1345831710380.html). 

Deadline for EOI:
13/03/2025

We invite researchers to submit their expression of interest with: 

· PhD certificate (according to the call dates).

· CV, including track record and selected list of publications (5 pages max.).

· Description of the research proposal (2 pages max., excluding references).

· Motivation letter (1 page max.)

DecisionThe Institute of History of Science will evaluate all the received proposals according with the research lines and scientific interests of the iHC and will communicate the result on 31th March, allowing enough time for the application procedure.
