Last Thursday, the 5th of March, the XV Institutional day in commemoration of Women's International Day took place, with the recognition of Dr. Laura Duarte Campderrós and the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Observatory for Equality of the UAB.
The conference "Ahora contamos nosotras" carried out by the feminist journalist and writer Cristina Fallarás and promoter of the hashtag #Cuéntalo has been postponed.
In addition to the institutional event, all the UAB community will gather to commemorate the Women's International Day with different events and actions throughout the week.
On March, 5, the XV Institutional Day in commemoration of Women's International Day will take place at the UAB. The event will include the recognition to Dr. Laura Duarte Campderrós, responsible specialist of the Observatory for Equality of the UAB, as well as the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Observatory.
The Observatory for Equality has published the diagnosis made for the preparation of the Fourth action plan for gender equality of the UAB. It evaluates the degree of implementation of the Third Plan, revises the regulations in force and proposes new action measures.
The courses, promoted by the Observatory, are addressed to students and Administrative and Services Staff (PAS) and Academic and Research Staff (PDI) of the UAB.
The Observatory for Equality will provide training on the inclusion of gender equality and dimension in universities research in the European project THERACAT, which the Observatory is part of.
The Series of talks and Workshops organised by the Observatory and funded by Pacto de Estado are completed.
On November 28 and 29, 2019, the Observatory for Equality at UAB took part of the VII Meeting "Grup de Treball d'Igualtat de Gènere de la Xarxa Vives d'Universitats", this year at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, in Tarragona.
