Faculty's SGIQ

The centres of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) have their own Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS), that reflects their firm commitment to offering quality university degrees that include in their operation the mechanisms to ensure continuous evaluation and improvement, both for the degrees and for the management system itself.

The IQAS of the centre assumes the UAB commitment (transversal UAB IQAS) and contributes to offering quality university degrees that guarantee the achievement of the learning outcomes (abilities, knowledge and competencies) foreseen in the training programmes. In order to accomplish this fundamental goal of offering a scientific training at bachelor's and master’s level based on the needs and expectations of their users, and of the society in general.

The IQAS of the Faculty of Economics and Business gathers all the responsibilities and tasks undertaken at a centre level, including the particularities, needs and specifical interests of the centre and of the degrees programmed.

This management system has been designed according to the AUDIT programme guidelines and the quality recommendations established by AQU Catalunya and ENQA.

On November 23th, 2010 the Faculty of Faculty of Economics and Business got a favourable report of its IQAS design issued by AQU Catalunya (certificate). And on March 2nd, 2021 got a favourable IQAS implementation certification report issued by AQU Catalunya (certificate).
