ICTA-UAB researcher Letícia Santos de Lima will be a key speaker at the Climate Information Integrity Summit, a major international event focused on combating misinformation and strengthening the global climate information ecosystem. The summit takes place in Brazil at a critical moment, as the world prepares for COP30.

Letícia Santos de Lima will participate in Panel 3: "Advertising and Accountability: Turning Ads and the Advertising Industry into Allies in Support of Information Integrity", which will be streamed live at 3:00 PM (Madrid time). This session will explore the crucial role of advertising in shaping public perception of climate change and the need for greater accountability in the industry.
Organized by FALA, the Conscious Advertising Network (CAN), and Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD), the summit brings together experts from government, industry, civil society, and the media. The goal is to expose weaknesses in the climate information ecosystem and push for concrete solutions to safeguard information integrity.
