Meeting of INDESCAT universities and educational centers members
The Institute hosts the meeting "Defining Challenges with Universities and Knowledge Centers", bringing together representatives from universities and educational centres that are part of INDESCAT, the Catalan sports industry cluster.
The session, held on March 6, 2025, at UAB, aimed to define the work plan for the coming years to bridge the gap between academia and the business sector. Participants had the opportunity to share information, identify common needs, design work strategies, and find solutions to the shared challenges among the universities and educational centres that are part of INDESCAT.
The session included the participation of INDESCAT members, as well as SAF-UAB and IRE-UAB, alongside representatives from Blanquerna-URL, Cruyff Institute, ESEI (International Business School), ESHI (European Sports Health Institute), Escola Vitae, EUNCET, TecnoCampus, INEFC, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Vibliotec.
IRE-UAB is a member of INDESCAT, the Catalan sports industry cluster, as part of its commitment to fostering connections with the sports sector. INDESCAT brings together more than 250 companies and organizations linked to the sports industry across five key value chains or segments: events, facilities, goods and services, eSports, and sports tourism, with the goal of developing actions that enhance the competitiveness of these organizations and their environment.
