• Identify different lines of research in the various fields of research in education.

• Recognize the ethical principles of research in the development of studies in the field of education. 

Skills

• Develop an exhaustive review of the scientific literature according to the topic of research and/or innovation.
• Develop the design and select the methodology most consistent with the research objectives. 
• Design and develop fieldwork, the different techniques and instruments for collecting information. 
• Analyze different types of data according to their nature. 
• Present a research project adapting the record to the type of scientific communication (report, article, contribution to conferences, monograph, poster, videos, etc.).

• Formulate a research problem and formulate its questions and objectives. 
• Adopt methodological quality criteria in research. 
• Contrast the research data with the objectives of the study and the body of knowledge available to draw conclusions.
