The degree is aimed at students interested in human biology and in discovering its functions, the origins of diseases and how the organism responds to these, as well as the technological applications which can be used in biology and medicine.
It is also addressed to those professionally interested in the fields of basic research or in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry, and in particular healthcare services, both in the R&D sector and in applied technologies.
It is highly recommendable to have a good level in Biology and to have taken mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in upper secondary school. We also recommend that students should have a good level of English.
