Presentation Francisco Rejón-Guardia
Description:
On January 17, the presentation of Francisco Rejón-Guardia (University of Malaga) will take place in the Department of Seminary.
Associate professor of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Málaga (Spain). He holds a PhD in Business Sciences, a degree in Business and Administration Science, a Master in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour and a Master in Bank Management (University of Granada).
His main areas of research interest are Social Media and on-line consumer behaviour, new advertising formats and application of emerging technologies in education. He published on these topics in journals such as Internet Research, Psychology & Marketing, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Journal of Technology and Science Education as well as books and book chapters.
His papers have appeared in conferences such as Academy Marketing Science (AMS), European Marketing Academy (EMAC), the Spanish Academic and Professional Marketing Association (AEMARK).

Description:
The next 18 and 19 January, the international conferences Transition, violence and victims will take place. Historiographic views. Organized by the Research Group on Dictatorships and Democracies (GReDD-CEDID) and the Instituto de Historia Social/Gizarte Historiarako Institutua Valentín de Foronda. This event will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UAB.

Peter Bayer is a postdoctoral researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics. In addition, he is a micro-theorist, his research is on the economics of networks and the applications of game theory in cancer.

Presentation Esteban Muñoz Sobrado
Description:
Next January 24 at 12:00, Esteban Muñoz's presentation will take place "Competing for Donations: The Role of Tax Deductibility in the U.S. Charitable Sector” in the Degree Hall
Muñoz Sobrado is a candidate at the Toulouse School of Economics. His research focuses on the intersection of behavioral and public economics. In particular, it studies the role of social preferences in taxation and how competition between pro-social actors can affect the decentralized provision of public goods. His wider interests include contract theory and its applications.

Science Carriage: let's talk about individual differences in dealing with stress
Description:
Lecturers Roser Nadal, Silvia Fuentes and Bernat Soler will occupy the expert's seat in this week's Science Carriage, which makes the journey from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, departing at 10:42 am to Plaça Catalunya. You will also find them on the return journey from Plaça Catalunya, departing at 12:28 p.m. until arriving at the university.
Nadal and Fuentes, who hold degrees in Psychology and are lecturers in the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences, together with Soler, lecturer in the Department of Physics at the UAB, will talk to train passengers about individual differences when confronted with stress.
