Interlibrary loan service: access to documents worldwide

The Interlibrary Loan service provides access to materials not available in the UAB libraries and that cannot be obtained through the consortial loan service (PUC).

If you are unable to find a document in the Search Engine, simply fill in the form, and we will source it for you. Whenever possible, this service will be free of charge, but in some cases, a fee may apply, depending on the location of the document.

In summary, the Interlibrary Loan service:

• Allows any member of the UAB (students, academic staff, administrative and service staff, Friends of the UAB, and Universitat a l'Abast) to request documents (both physical and electronic) that are not available in the UAB libraries and cannot be found through consortial loans with other Catalan universities (PUC).
• Allows external institutions (libraries or research centres) to request documents held by the UAB libraries.
