From the UAB, in collaboration with other universities and entities in the territory, a series of initiatives aimed at digital education and training in the field of Humanities are promoted. A high quality transversal and interdisciplinary education to train specialists in cultural studies, within an environment of co-creation and technological and methodological innovation:

Training is offered on the application of advanced information technologies in the documentation, analysis and dissemination of historical cultural heritage, both textual and material. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical training in the development of new technologies for digitizing bibliographic documents, new techniques for image analysis and 3D models of elements of historical and cultural heritage, advances in the design and interrogation of documentary bases, approaches to artificial intelligence in the processing of humanistic information and new technologies for human-computer interaction that can lead to the creation of virtual museums and other forms of dissemination of culture.

Master's website

A vision of the Digital Humanities from philosophy, history, archeology, art, and from computer science and computer vision. The course offers an interdisciplinary approach to Humanities and Digital Heritage, and to the methods and tools used (databases, open data, big data, virtual reality, social networks, image recognition). It also provides a reflection on the legal and ethical aspects of technology and its implications for digital transformation, social innovation, politics and culture.
