1.- STUDENTS WITH SPANISH NATIONALITY

2.- EU STUDENTS

At the time of registration
These students must enrol with their passport or NIE. As long as they do not provide either of these two documents, they can provide their country's identification document.

At the beginning of the course
NIE must be provided (In accordance with current legislation, all students who belong to a member state of the European Union or another state that is part of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as well as the Swiss Confederation, and who intend to reside in Spain for a period of more than three months, must apply for registration at the Central Register of Foreigners, where they will obtain a registration certificate and a foreigner's identification number (NIE)).

Deadline for delivery
These students will not be able to start a paid internship if they do not provide a passport or NIE. If they do not provide one of the two required documents by 31 December, the enrolment of these students in the courses with fees will be cancelled.

 

3.- NON-EU STUDENTS

At the time of registration
These students must provide the NIE at the time of enrolment. Both the NIE that can be found in the TIE, as well as in the visa, and the resolution of the residence permits will also be accepted, as long as they are valid, given that in these last documents there is already the same information that will appear later in the TIE. As long as you do not provide this document, you can provide a valid passport.

If one of these documents is not provided by 31 December, the student's enrolment will be cancelled in accordance with the established procedure.

1.- IF YOU HAVE STUDIED AT THE UAB

  1.     It is not necessary to submit an academic certificate
  2.     It is not necessary to submit a degree (but you must have applied for it before 15/09).

 

2.- IF YOU HAVE STUDIED IN THE REST OF SPAIN, EU, EEE OR SWITZERLAND

  1.     Academic certificate, official document in digital format and with secure verification code (svc) to validate its authenticity.
  2.     Degree certificate or substitute certificate (applied for before 15/09) in digital format and with secure verification code (svc) to validate its authenticity.

The deadline for submitting the documentation to the academic management is 15 December. If the required documents are not provided, the student's enrolment will be cancelled in accordance with the established procedure.

 

3.- IF YOU HAVE STUDIED IN OTHER COUNTRIES

  1.     Academic certificate, official document in digital format and with a secure verification code (svc) to validate its authenticity. It must be legalised or apostilled.
  2.     Bachelor's degree or substitute certificate (applied for before 15/09) in digital format and with secure verification code (svc) in order to validate its authenticity. It must be legalised or apostilled.

The deadline for submitting the documentation to the academic management is 15 December. If the required documents are not provided, the student's enrolment will be cancelled in accordance with the established procedure.

1.- NUSS FOR THE WORK PLACEMENT

Social Security affiliation number. In the enrolment process you can fill in the NUSS field (Social Security affiliation number). It is not necessary to indicate it, nor is it necessary to present any documentation afterwards. However, this information must be provided to the academic management prior to any work placement.

Attention:
In order to be able to do an internship, it is essential to provide the NUSS beforehand to the academic management (by writing down the number on the internship commitment sheet).
In order to obtain the NUSS it is essential to have a DNI, NIE or passport. Foreign students are recommended to apply for the NIE/TIE before starting the course.

 

2.- IMPORTANCE OF NIE AND NUSS MANAGEMENT :

Attention:

All students -> Without NUSS it will not be possible to start the external placement course.

EU students -> If EU students have not presented, in addition to the NUSS, a passport or NIE by 31 December, the enrolment of these students will be cancelled for the subjects for which they have paid fees.

Non-EU students -> If non-EU students have not submitted, in addition to the NUSS, the TIE by 31 December, the enrolment of these students will be cancelled.

1.- SEPA ORDER

SEPA direct debit order: In case of direct debit of the registration fee, it must be printed and signed and sent through the form provided to the academic management of the Faculty of Biosciences after registration. The bank details must include the IBAN and BIC codes (only if the bank is not located in Spain). Only accounts of entities located in the European Union, Andorra, Vatican City, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino or Switzerland will be accepted.

2.- STUDENTS WHO ARE ENTITLED TO A DISCOUNT OR FREE REGISTRATION FEES

The documentation accrediting a reduction or discount must be submitted to the academic management of the Faculty of Biosciences using the documentation form before enrolment and the original or a certified electronic copy must be sent to the academic management.
