Two students of the Master SAES awarded a Fundación Iberdrola Scholarship
Two students of the Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability (SAES) of the Institut of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB) have been awarded a Fundación Iberdrola España Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies in Energy and Environment in Spain.
Lara Peralta Cortegoso and Alicia Fernández Camporro have received this grant which aims to contribute to excellence in training in the energy field, with special emphasis on renewable energy, protection of the environment, and efficiency of the energy system. The scholarship covers the cost of enrolment and offers a stipend to cover accommodation and transport.
Scholarships are granted to the most talented students and special consideration is given to programmes included in regional or international excellence campuses, such as the ICTA-UAB Unit of Excellence María de Maeztu.
Laura Peralta Cortegoso is from Sevilla and holds a degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from the Manchester Metropolitan University. Alicia Fernández Camporro holds a degree in Forestry Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
