Esteve Corbera and Lina Moros talk about PES in Colombia
ICTA-UAB researchers Lina Moros and Esteve Corbera participated in a workshop entitled “Payments for Ecosystem Services in Colombia: discourses, design and implementation”, held in Bogotá, on the 15th of November 2018.
Lina Moros presented a forthcoming article of her PhD research, which identifies and describes Colombia’s PES discourses, whilst Esteve provided an overview of the state of the art in PES research worldwide.
The workshop brought together over 80 people from across the country, including government officers, NGO members and other practitioners, as well as academics.
The workshop was organized by Dr. Maria Alejandra Vélez, co-supervisor of Lina’s PhD in the University of los Andes, and it was funded by the Environment for Development initiative in the global South.
