Research

R2. Recognised researcher

UAB vision

We consider that international projection is an important aspect during the initial postdoctoral phase.

Opportunities

We encourage our graduates to apply for grants that provide opportunities for international stays. Simultaneously, the University is committed to serving as a host institution for international talent.

  • Having international research/teaching experience facilitates advancement to higher stages in a research career.
  • International experience is often required for many grants and for obtaining AQU and ANECA credentials.
  • This stage can be completed at any Spanish university, but it is important that it takes place at a different institution from where the individual obtained their doctoral degree.
