ADUAB’s objective is to break down the existing barriers between disabled people and the others. On 23 October ADUAB held the first meeting of the 2014-2015 academic year. This meeting was meant to establish the bases of the society for this academic year. Furthermore, members of PIUNE, the UAB Disability Service, and FSC Inserta, a company of the ONCE Foundation specialized in providing employment, also attended the meeting.
ADUAB’s main objective is to break down the existing barriers and limitations between disabled people and the others. Besides, this year ADUAB has the challenge of growing as a society and becoming one of the most important associations in the campus in the medium-term.
ADUAB aims to schedule a series of leisure and culture activities throughout the academic year to promote the participation of disabled people. On the other hand, the student society also wants to guide and help disabled students in everything that has to do with their life at the UAB.
To carry out this task, ADUAB will have the support of PIUNE and FSC Inserta, which are ready to collaborate actively.
