600 fish experts to meet at UAB

On 5 July, UAB will be welcoming 600 fish biology experts from around the world as part of the ninth edition of the Biology of Fish conference organised by the Physiology Section of the American Fisheries Society.

Researchers will be discussing different issues related to fish biology, from reactions to the rise in temperature caused by climate change to the effects of pollutants, diversity of tropical fish or the latest studies on reproduction in farmed fish.

This edition has been coordinated by Lluís Tort, professor of the UAB Department of Cellular Biology, Physiology and Immunology. Conferences will take place at Hotel Campus from 5 to 9 July.
