Registration and arrival at UAB
If you are planning to come to UAB as exchange student, these are the steps to follow:
NOMINATION:
Incoming students have to be nominated directly by universities that have established an exchange program agreement with UAB, specifically for the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology. Terms and deadlines can be checked at the 2024/25 Fact Sheet
REGISTRATION AS INCOMING STUDENTS:
Once nominated, students will receive complete information about how to register in our online application
APPLICATION FOR SUBJECTS:
By the begining of July (1st Term)/ by the beginning of December (2nd Term) we will send you and e-mail with information regarding subjects and registration procedure. If you haven't received this e-mail, contact us at intercanvis.politiques@uab.cat
Documents required for registration:
• Copy of your medical insurance (except for SICUE students). European Sanitary Card it's ok.
• Language certificates: B2 in Spanish and/ or B2 in English, depending on the selected courses
In order to select the subjects, you will have to log in the pre-enrolment application: Access to the pre-enrollment application (only available during the specific period)

ENROLLMENT:
First week of september (1st semester or full year) // First week of February (2nd semester).
Once the course registrarion is done, the enrollment will be ssued by the exchange office, the student will directly receive a copy.
A complementary insurance (civil liability and accidents) for an amount of €4.80 (2024/25 year fee) will be included in the enrollment, which students will pay during the first days of the course according to the indications of the office.
INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICE-ISS WELCOME MEETING:
The ISS will contact you as international student in order to participate in an online welcome meeting

FIRST SEMESTER: September 18th, 13.00h, Room 12
