During the Welcome Days. Become a UABer here are some activities you can do to get to know student groups and UAB services so you can make the most of your stay at UAB.

You will also be able to meet other UAB international students and local students.

IMPORTANT! To take part in the activities, you will need to fill in the registration forms (from 7th February).

The Welcome Days. Become a UABer programme is as follows:

• Monday 10th February
  • 3 pm Institutional welcome by the Vice-Rector for Students and Employability. At the UAB Cinema.

• Tuesday 11th February
  • 1 pm Catalan from Scratch workshop. Come along to the workshop to learn a bit of Catalan and you'll see that it's not so different from other languages. By UAB Languages. Registration Form
  • 2 pm Crochet workshop. By the UAB student group Fem Ganxet. Registration form.
  • 4 pm Open gaming library. Come and play role-playing games and meet the CRUAB student group, the UAB Role-playing Club. Registration form

• Wednesday 12th February
  • 1 pm International Lunch. Prepare a typical dish from your country and share it with the rest of the students. Registration Form
  • 4 pm Find out about the activities of Erasmus Student Network (ESN) in their presentation session. Registration Form
  • 6.30 pm Star Gazing Session, by the student group Astro UAB. Registration Form

• Thursday 13th February
  • 1 pm Human towers rehearsal, by Ganàpies, the UAB casteller's group. Registration Form. 
  • 5 pm ESN UAB Walk. Organised by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) student group, so you can get to know the UAB campus. Registration Form

• Friday 14th February
  • 2 pm Speed Tandem. Activity to meet other UAB students but remember that you’ll only have 5 minutes to talk to each person! Registration Form
