Graduate enrolment FAQs
Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions about the enrollment of the Official Master's Degree.
The general enrolment period for official master's degrees is July, September and October.
The Academic Management will inform the admitted students about the exact dates a few months before enrollment. You can also find this information in the administrative calendar.

The documents you sent online during your pre-registration do not replace those you must submit at the time of the enrollment.
If you are an international student, remember that non-European academic transcripts and diplomas must be official, issued by the competent authorities and legalized through diplomatic channels or, where applicable, through the apostille of The Hague Convention or the Andrés Bello Convention.
All the documentation must be issued in Catalan, Spanish or English. In all other cases, the corresponding translation must be attached. It has to be made by a sworn translator, by any diplomatic or consular representation of Spain abroad, or by the diplomatic or consular representation in Spain of the issuing country.
All copies must be certified. If the documentation can be verified using a QR code or Secure Verification Code, it is not necessary to present it on paper or make certified copies.
Generally, the first year it is compulsory to enroll, at least, 60 credits of the Master's Degree.
Master's Degree students have three years to complete the 60 credits of the program, and four years if they enroll in complementary training. In the case of Master's Degrees with 90 to 120 credits, full-time students have four years to complete their studies, and part-time students have an additional year.
If you cannot have a full time dedication to the Master's Degree, you can talk to the program coordination to assess the possibility of coursing it part-time, enrolling in that case a minimum of 30 credits in the first year.

The payment must be completed within 10 days after the enrollment. You can choose different payment options.
During the enrollment, you can request to pay in one or two installments.
Remember that if you have paid the pre-enrollment, this amount will be deducted from the final tuition.

The Academic Management will provide you with the letter of admission to apply, if applicable, for the student visa or NIE. For additional information, you can consult the Spanish embassy or consulate closest to you, or also the UAB International Support Service, which will assist you in all the legal matters related to your stay prior to leaving your country and the procedures once you arrive in Barcelona.
All the students admitted to a Master's Degree receive an admission notification with all the information necessary for different procedures, such as applying for a visa, applying for scholarships and others. If you have not received it or need more information, contact the Academic Management.
