The official master's degree in Neuroengineering and Rehabilitiation aims to train engineers with a high level of multidisciplinary skills that will allow them easily to adapt to positions with responsibilities in hospitals, private firms and research centres in the field of neuroengineering and rehabilitation.
Students are encouraged to acquire fundamental theoretical and practical skills in neuroengineering and rehabilitation and associated technology. The subjects focus on providing knowledge and skills in neural engineering; sensory, brain and muscular systems; assistential technology; cognitive, motor and cardiorespiratory therapies, and many other related aspects.
This is an inter-university master's degree and is offered jointly by the UAB, the Barcelona Tech (UPC) and the Institut Guttmann University Institute of Neurorehabilitation, a UAB-affiliated centre.
