Official Master's Degree in Neurorehabilitation
Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
Future students on the Master’s Degree in Neurorehabilitation must hold an official Spanish or foreign university degree issued by a higher education institution belonging to another state from the European Higher Education Area or from third countries, which authorises them to gain admission to the master’s degree studies.
Students must preferably belong to the areas of knowledge related to health and sport sciences: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences or other equivalent degrees.
They must also have a B1 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Selection criteria
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, places will be awarded in accordance with the following criteria, which the teaching committee will assess out of a total of 10 points:
- Curriculum vitae, from which the following aspects will be assessed:
- Prior professional experience in the field of rehabilitation and disability. Each year of experience will be awarded 1 point, up to a maximum of 5 years.
- Previous training linked to the master’s degree (attendance of and/or participation in postgraduate courses, seminars and congresses, publications and training stays). Each training action carried out by the candidate will be awarded 0.5 points, up to a maximum of 10 activities. All participations or publications must be supported with a copy of the participation certificate or of the publication.
- Average grade from the academic record of the qualification giving access to the master’s degree.
The teaching committee uses a table to assess and score these three parameters for each of the applicants and grants 60% to work experience in the area of rehabilitation and disability, 20% to specific training in this field and 20% to the average grade of the academic record of the qualification giving access to the master’s degree. Candidates must also submit a letter to the coordinator of the master’s degree, explaining their experience in this area, their professional interest and their expectations on completing their studies.
