Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

Applicants for the master's degree must meet the following criteria:

  • Come from bachelor's degrees, bachelor's degrees or equivalent related to the subject of the master's degree; This includes degrees in science, bioscience, and engineering. 
  • Possess a command of English, with documentary accreditation of level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​of the Council of Europe. Candidates who do not present the B2 level documentary accreditation may be interviewed by the commission to evaluate their ability to follow the master's classes without difficulty. This commission will have the ability to articulate the language levels, and specifically, it will evaluate: 
  1. Fluency and coherence: Ability to express ideas clearly and coherently in English. Although grammatical perfection is not expected, the candidate should be able to communicate his thoughts fluently, avoiding excessive pauses or confusion. 
  2. The adequacy of vocabulary: The use of a broad vocabulary, appropriate for an academic environment, is an indicator of a B2 level. It will be observed if the candidate uses specific terms related to the field of study and if he or she can handle general and academic topics.

Selection criteria

Once admission numbers have been decided, places will be awarded on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. Candidate's academic record (70%).
  2. Candidate's curriculum vitae (15%)
  3. Letter of motivation (15 %)

The committee interviews students who do not have a B1 level certificate in English to check that they are able to follow the Master's classes without difficulty.
