In this degree you will acquire knowledge of health, human and social sciences to respond to the needs of people. You will develop a great capacity for analysis and critical vision to make ethical decisions

The bachelor's degree prepares students to offer health promotion and disease prevention strategies and to conduct activities which contribute to healing people and offering the treatments needed to provide patients with a dignified death. Within the health system, nursing professionals share with other health professionals the taks of planning, organising, managing and evaluating the healthcare system.

In addition, you will be given the chance to specialise in one of these nursing areas: Community Health Actions or Nursing in Specific Areas.

The School of Nursing and Occupational Therapy Terrassa has a long teaching tradition in nursing studies and works closely with leading local and international hospital centres.

Practicum I (9 ECTS) and Practicum IV (9 ECTS) are done at the school through classroom simulations in small groups. Practicum II (13 ECTS): 4 weeks in hospitalisation units in hospitals and 4 weeks in primary care centres (adults). Practicum III (29 ECTS): eight weeks in hospitals (semi-intensive and level II emergency units) and six weeks in hospital paediatric units and paediatric services in primary care centres. -Practicum V (21 ECTS) six weeks in hospitals, in units for critical cases, like intensive care, emergencies, palliative care etc., and six weeks in Community Health services and primary care centres working on Community-Focused Programmes.
