Wednesday: The CREAF organises CREAF Talks, a series of seminars with international guest speakers from the ecology sector who explain their work on global research. Taking place every two weeks, the seminars are open to the public in general. Please sign up to attend.

Wednesday: The talk will cover the current programmes that ESA is executing in the framework of Space Exploration as well as an outlook to what the agency will propose as future missions. These will cover Low Earth Orbit, the Moon and Mars.

De Winne is the Head of the European Astronaut Centre since August 2012 and has been the the first European commander of he International Space Station.

Wednesday: The UAB, in collaboration with the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia, will inaugurate on 5 April at 11 a.m. an exhibition on "Sex in Roman Times", organised by the Museum of Archaeology and produced and commissioned by the Museum of Badalona. The exhibition will be on display at the Humanities Library. It is addressed to an adult audience and contains a series of Roman pieces conserved in different museums of Catalonia and accompanied by texts. The exhibition will be on display until 15 June.

Wednesday: As part of the Feynman Year 2018, physicist and science historian at the MIT Professor David Kaiser will give a conference entitled "Following His Own Path: The Life and Science of Physicist Richard Feynman".

Wednesday: At 12 noon, the Building C's auditorium (Sala d’actes) will play host to a poetry recital on the topic of light by Department of Physics lecturer David Jou.

Following the recital, lecturer and researcher of the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) Jens Biegert will speak on the control of electrons through light with the aim of obtaining “snapshots” of the dynamics of chemical reactions in a conference entitled “Teaching Electrons to Take a Selfie”.
