BioOne
A database in the field of biosciences. It provides full-text access to over 200 journal titles from 135 societies and non-profit publishers. You can find titles such as: Crop and Pasture Science, Journal of Agricultural and Urban Entomology, Weed Technology, etc.
BSAVA Library
A database from the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, including manuals, guides, forms, webinars, journals, conference recordings, etc.
CABI Digital Library
A platform that includes e-books, divided into 6 collections: Agriculture; Animal and Veterinary Sciences; Environmental Sciences; Human Health & Nutrition; Leisure & Tourism; Plant Sciences. The books are indexed and can be accessed by chapters. It allows reading books online, printing, and downloading PDFs.
It also includes:
- AHPC (The Animal Health & Production Compendium): An encyclopaedic resource on animal health and production (pigs, poultry, and ruminants) developed by CABI. It contains references, images, and datasheets on over 300 diseases, pathogens, and breeds from 150 countries. It includes the latest geographical distribution data from the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and information from the Cornell University Consultant database. It also includes definitions from the Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary (Elsevier), del World Dictionary of Livestock Breeds i de l'Encyclopaedia of Farm Animal Nutrition.
- VetMed Resource: veterinary information to support practice, based on evidence and continuing education: A database containing over 107,000 full-text documents (journal articles, conference contributions, bulletins, etc.) and over 1.8 million bibliographic records tagged with keywords. It also provides access to CAB Reviews, news, and Smart searches—expert-prepared searches that help users find the best and fastest results within VetMed Resource records. Additionally, it covers more than 5,000 veterinary and animal health journals with records from 1972 to the present.

S-PAC (Searchable Proceedings of Animal Conferences)
A database of proceedings from various conferences in the field of Animal Science. It also includes a conference calendar for this area. It provides additional information about specific conferences, including registration details for many of them and how to request paper copies of the proceedings from various conferences.

A veterinary anatomy atlas based on medical images, created under the supervision of Dr. Susanne AEB Boroffka, dipl. ECVDI, PhD, and Dr. Antoine Micheau.

Platform offering over 80,000 educational videos for streaming, including documentaries, TV programmes, series, concerts, plays, and dance performances, covering a wide range of subjects such as business, film, health, history, and anthropology. It is especially useful for finding audiovisual teaching resources and supporting learning, and provides tools for embedding interactive activities directly into videos.
DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals)
Comprehensive collection of nearly 20,000 open access journals from around the world, available in 80 languages. Covering all academic disciplines, it allows users to search and retrieve full-text articles from over 9 million indexed publications
JSTOR
Multidisciplinary database providing full-text access to the historical archives of 117 leading academic journals, primarily from the Anglo-Saxon world.
PubMed
Biomedical literature search engine, including life sciences, chemistry, and bioengineering, among others. Known as Medline when accessed via providers, PubMed is a free resource developed and maintained by the National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Scopus
One of the largest databases of peer-reviewed abstracts and citations, Scopus offers both content and added services such as bibliometrics, author identification, and affiliation tracking. Updated daily, it covers publications in 40 languages and provides extensive coverage of non-English sources (6,900 European journals, with more than 50% from Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region).
Web of Science (WoS)
Platform primarily focused on Anglo-Saxon content, Web of Science from Clarivate Analytics offers access to a wide range of bibliographic and bibliometric databases across multiple disciplines. It enables users to perform subject-based searches or search by cited work and/or author, and includes bibliometric indicators such as citation counts, H-index, and journal impact factors.

ÍnDICEs CSIC
Reference database developed by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), covering scientific, social, and biomedical research. It includes scientific publications from Spain dating back to the 1970s. For articles available online, links to the full texts are provided.
Dialnet Plus
Database created by the University of La Rioja, offering access to over 1 million articles from Spanish and Ibero-American scientific journals.
OpenGrey: system for information on grey literature in Europe
Resource developed by the Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (INIST), OpenGrey provides bibliographic citations of grey literature produced across Europe. It covers documents in science, technology, biomedicine, economics, social sciences, and the humanities, including technical reports, research papers, doctoral theses, conference proceedings, official publications, and other types of grey literature. Open access.
