A global database providing bibliographic and technical information on food and agriculture. Managed by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). Open access.
CAB eBooks
CAB eBooks is an electronic book platform divided into six collections: 1. Agriculture 2. Animal & Veterinary Sciences 3. Environmental Sciences 4. Human Health & Nutrition 5. Leisure & Tourism 6. Plant Sciences. The books are indexed and retrievable by chapter, allowing for online reading, printing, and downloading in PDF format.
GeoRef
A database produced by the American Geosciences Institute, providing bibliographic information (journal articles, books, theses, reports, maps...) on various aspects of Earth sciences (engineering, economics, chemistry...). It offers comprehensive coverage of North American geology, which expanded internationally from 1933. GeoRef in Process includes literature not yet indexed, often in non-English languages. A thesaurus is available.
GreenFILE
A database containing information on the positive and negative impacts of humans on the environment and related topics: global warming, pollution, renewable energy, recycling, etc. It also links environmental issues to disciplines like agriculture, education, law, health, and technology. It includes over 600 articles (some full-text) from the first issue to the present and contains more than 295,000 records, with over 4,600 available in full-text.

GeoRef (includes GeoRef in Process)
A comprehensive database produced by the American Geosciences Institute, offering bibliographic information on various aspects of Earth sciences, such as engineering, economics, and chemistry. It covers North American geology in full, with international coverage from 1933 onwards. GeoRef in Process includes literature that has not yet been indexed, often in non-English languages. A thesaurus is also available to aid in searches.
This resource provides access to the latest literature in Earth sciences that is currently being indexed, but has not yet been transferred to GeoRef.
BIGPI: Bibliography of Geology of the Iberian Peninsula
A bibliographic database focused on the geology of the Iberian Peninsula, with links to the University of Barcelona library catalogue and full-text documents where available in electronic form. Most original documents can be consulted at the Geology Library (UB-CSIC).
Cambridge Structural Database (CSD)
A repository of crystallographic structures, primarily obtained via X-ray diffraction. A free consultation version is accessible online through The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC), and a licensed version is available on certain computers at the UAB. Earth, Atmospheric & Aquatic Science Database
This database includes resources related to Earth sciences, geology, and aquatic sciences. It encompasses titles from Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts (ASFA), Oceanic Abstracts, and Meteorological & Geoastrophysical Abstracts (MGA). It provides full-text access to a wide range of sources, including academic journals, trade and industry journals, technical reports, conference proceedings, and government publications.

Created by the European Patent Office (EPO), it offers a free search service for patents and technical developments since 1836. It contains more than 110 million documents from around the world and is updated daily. Free access.
Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology

Important both for its content and for its added services: bibliometrics, author identification and affiliations. It is the largest peer-reviewed abstract and citation database in the world. It is updated daily. It contains information in 40 languages, plus non-English-speaking coverage (6900 European journals, more than 50% of the titles are European, South American and Asia-Pacific).
Web of Science (WoS)
A mainly English-speaking portal from the company Clarivate Analytics that allows consultation of a set of bibliographic and bibliometric databases of a multidisciplinary nature. Allows thematic searches and by cited work and/or author, consult bibliometric indicators (number of citations, H index, impact factor of journals, etc.)

Portal to the CSIC databases, this is a multidisciplinary bibliographic resource that compiles and disseminates mainly research articles published in Spanish scientific journals and replaces "CSIC databases: ICYT, IME, ISOC".
OpenGrey: system for information on grey literature in Europe
Developed by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information, it contains bibliographical citations of grey literature generated in Europe. It collects documents from science, technology, biomedicine, economics, social sciences and humanities. It includes technical or research reports, doctoral theses, conference proceedings, official publications and other types of grey literature. Free access.
