Periodicals Room of the Humanities Library

The Periodicals Room of the Humanities Library is located in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities building. This space serves the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Education, Psychology, and Translation and Interpreting, and shares facilities with the Digital Lab of UAB Open Labs.

Purpose 

The room is designed for academic use within formal education (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes), as well as for research activities organised by research groups. It also supports continuous learning for faculty and administrative staff (PTGAS) and hosts knowledge transfer activities organised by the deanship and departments.

Activities 

The Periodicals Room hosts teaching innovation activities, workshops, active learning sessions, cultural events, conferences, and more, aimed at the university community. All activities are open to the public, fostering participation and collaboration among university members.

The room is specially equipped for events that require technological resources, such as monitors, laptops, and audio-visual equipment.

The space is available during opening hours.
