The Periodicals Room hosts a photography exhibition that gives voice to Palestinian women, highlighting their daily resistance and struggle against occupation. The exhibition, led by Ester Pérez Berenguer, SUDS, and SCI Catalonia, is open until January 31st.

Palestinian resistance is not only lived on the battlefields but also in the intimate spaces of women fighting against the double occupation they face: the Zionist occupation and patriarchal control. The new photography exhibition "The Invisible Resistance. Palestinian Women Against Occupation", which can be seen at the Periodicals Room (Building B), offers a feminist and profound perspective on this often-silenced phenomenon.

The project, created by Ester Pérez Berenguer in collaboration with SUDS and SCI Catalonia, aims to show the narrative that emerges from the margins of Palestinian society, woven with courage and determination by women. These protagonists, often invisibilised by the conflict and patriarchal gaze, fight to maintain their dignity and freedom, resisting not only military occupation but also the power structures that subjugate them within their own society.

"With this exhibition, we aim to make visible a resistance born from their quiet determination. These are women who refuse to be reduced to victims and are determined to write their own future and lead the way to liberation. Because it is not possible to build a free Palestine without women, and Palestine will never be fully free as long as women are not", explains Ester Pérez Berenguer.

The exhibition will be open to the public until January 31st, inviting everyone to reflect on the essential role of women in the struggle for freedom and justice.
