Enric Lluch Collection

Enric Lluch i Martín (1928-2012) was a distinguished geographer and educator who earned his degree in History from the University of Barcelona. He joined the university as a geography assistant in 1961 but was later removed due to his anti-Franco activism. In 1969, he began working at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he founded the Department of Geography.

As a co-founder of the Rosa Sensat Teacher Training School, he played a significant role in the Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana alongside Max Cahner and contributed to drafting the Roca Plan in 2000. He was awarded the Ramon Fuster Prize (1985) and the Jaume Vicens Vives Prize (2000) in recognition of his exceptional teaching and research.
