Introduction
One of the most characteristic traits of today's society is the large amount of information generated by different types of media. In addition, progressive and continuous development of new information and communication technologies (ICT) has accelerated this process notably and makes it easier to disseminate large amounts of data throughout the world]
Experts in statistics are essential in projects carried out by multidisciplinary teams where there is a need to work in collaboration with specialists from other fields and participate in decision making processes such as experimental designs or the extraction of models and trends for the interpretation of results.

Part-time or full-time
Possibility of taking the slow track option (part-time studies): 30 credits in the first year and from 24 to 42 in the remaining years.

Annual registration. Courses scheduled by semester.
Language
Catalan (80%) and Spanish (20%).
Evaluation types
ECTS methodology consists of continued assessment of all academic work done by students: classwork, practicals and oral and written presentations. Some subjects include final and/or partial exams.
