Which format should have the project
When you do an academic work, you must follow some graphical and presentation.
We suggest following these recommendations:
Format
Free, but most usual is DIN-A4 vertical (21 x 29.7 cm).
Amount of text
- It is recommended the same amount of text on each page, between 30-32 lines depending on the font size and the line spacing.
- Pages can have headers or footers with the work title.
Margins
Use margins between 2.5 and 3 cm.
Numbering of the pages
- Place the page number at the bottom of the page either in the central or right part.
- All the pages count on the page, including the attachments, although the covers, dedications, slogans or blank separations between chapters do not carry the printed number.
Justification and bleeding
Justify the text and separate the paragraphs by a blank line. Do not use bleeding.
Font
Use the same font in all the work. The most commonly used types are Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman or Garamond. The main text should be in the round letter.
- Titles: 14 punts
- Body: 11-12, general text
- Footnotes and footers: 8-9
Chapters, sections and sub-sections
They must appear hierarchized by typography and with Arabic numerals subdivided by points. For example:
2. Chapter title
2.1. Heading title
2.1.1. Subsection title
Printing
Vertical, one or double-sided, following the instructions of you teacher.
