Conference and exhibition: "Horts verticals, metabolisme circular i km 0"
Description:
Under the framework of the 17th Science Festival, a conference will be held on various topics related to greenhouses, to reflect on their role from a social, architectural and productive vision in urban environments. The Ciutadella Hivernacle will also offer the exhibition entitled “Màquina Climàtica”, on display until 8 December. The exhibition plays with the simile of the warming effect produced by the greenhouse itself and the so-called greenhouse effect that makes life on Earth possible. It shows how human activity is accentuating this effect and will go through the history and evolution of greenhouses, as well as take a look at the productive future of these facilities. Sostenipra-ICTA-UAB has provided the content of the exhibition and the plants.
