Innovative Europe: Funding opportunities
Description:
This event provides the opportunity to learn about the Horizon Europe framework programme's call for proposals; specifically, those in pillar III- Innovative Europe from the European Innovation Council (EIC), whose main goal is to support ground-breaking innovations with market creation potential.
Participation will include experts in the European Innovation Council programmes, who will go into detail about the most relevant aspects of the programme. A session on gender and ethical questions for European projects will be offered and, lastly, attendants will learn first-hand about the successful projects that have received European funding. There will be a chance to speak with researchers about their experience, and learn some tips for preparing proposals.

Round table on the European Parliament elections
Description:
The AmicsUAB association, the Institute of European Studies of the UAB, and the Jean Monnet EUPOL Chair are organising around table to discuss the prospects for a change of cycle in the European Union in the context of the elections to the European Parliament. The event will take place on 30 May at 6:30 p.m., in Rooms 64 and 65 of the Barcelona Bar Association. Josep Maria de Dios, director of the Institute of European Studies of the UAB; Ana Mar Fernández, Jean Monnet Professor in European Policies of the UAB; and Núria González, Jean Monnet Professor in European Constitutional Democracy of the UB. 8th ACCID and APC Conference: New Technologies in Accounting and Management
Description:
The Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (ACCID) organises the eighth edition of the Catalan Conference on Accounting and Management, which will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online). The event will take place at the UAB campus in Sabadell.
Montserrat Casanovas, president of ACCID, will talk about the emerging technology trends causing a significant impact on society, businesses and the global economy. These innovations are remodelling existing trends and bringing in new perspectives that will allow changing the current scenario. This annual conference, leader in accounting and management-related issues, aims to bring together independent professionals, academics, executives, and directors of these sectors from private, public, and non-profit organisations. The event willserve to debate upon the latest rules, trends, innovations, practical problems and solutions adopted. The conference will consist in talks, an awards ceremony for the 21st edition of the ACCID Awards, teaching and research workshops and working sessions, and other activities that can be viewed here in the programme.

The UAB Orchestra presents the traditional spring concert
Description:
The programme of the spring concert of this course, presented by the UAB Orchestra, features the last symphony of the Austrian composer Joseph Haydn, followed by the intoxicating and fascinating Minuetto Serio, by Zolt'n Kod'ly, and ending with two evocative and charming songs by the English composer E. Elgar.
